The Babolat Drive G tennis racquet was designed with beginner to intermediate players in mind, and has a 100% graphite frame just like the top-selling performance tennis racquet, Babolat Pure Drive VS, but at a fraction of the performance price. It has the same Elliptic Geometry, Woofer, and Cortex Dampening technologies as the brand new Babolat Pure Drive VS. The Elliptic Geometry has an elliptic frame shape that ensures no bending or twisting upon impact. The Woofer String System has pully and piston functions, which allows all of the strings to work together to create extra power with less shock and vibration. The Cortex Dampening technology is a viscoelastic rubber layer integrated into the frame which helps to reduce unwanted shock and vibration. The frame has a 102 square inch head, comes in at a medium-weight of 10.1 ounces, and is made of 100% graphite. The 4 points head light balance helps players whip the head of the racket through the zone, imparting more spin when necessary. The 16x19, open string pattern has squares in the stringbed big enough to bite plenty of the ball on contact, allowing the player to create more revolutions per second (aka spin) when needed. This frame is best for beginner to intermediate players with medium to medium-fast strokes. See "Specifications" tab for more information. Babolat Racquets 102324-136
